Is there free OET Speaking practice online?
Yes. OET publishes free sample Speaking tests and guides. MockLive AI's first AI role play is free, and OET Live gives one free role play.
How is OET Speaking marked?
On nine criteria: four linguistic (intelligibility, fluency, appropriateness of language, resources of grammar and expression) and five clinical communication (relationship building, understanding the patient's perspective, providing structure, information gathering, information giving).
Can an AI score replace an OET teacher?
No. An AI marker is good for volume and for seeing the same yardstick every time; a trained teacher is better on pronunciation and on what an assessor will notice. Many candidates use both.
