IELTS口语第一部分：家乡
第一部分出现概率最高的话题，也是最常被用旅游宣传册式句子回答的话题。
这个话题与个人相关，不需要专业词汇，能让考官在第一分钟就听到你如何描述和比较。几乎每位考生都会遇到它的某个版本。

问题会一个接一个快速抛出，考官不会点评你的回答。先大声读出来，每题用两三句话回答，然后再看下面的答题方法。

这个话题怎么答
- 为从没听说过它的人定位：附近的大城市、所在地区、大致规模。一句话即可。
- 用具体事物回答，而不是一个类别。不说“it is famous for its culture”，而说那个实际的东西——一条河、一个产业、一种食物、一家足球俱乐部。
- “has it changed”这个问题是这个话题里展示语法的最佳机会。“There didn't use to be…”和“they've built…”正是考官要听的。
- 敢于说点负面的东西。对自己家乡的平衡回答听起来更像一个真实的人，而不像一份宣传单。

Where is your hometown?
It's a mid-sized city on the west coast, about two hours from the capital. Most people outside the country have never heard of it, which I've stopped apologising for. Do you like your hometown?
More than I did when I lived there. Has your hometown changed much?
Enormously, and mostly in the last decade. The old docks were derelict when I was small and they've been turned into flats and restaurants, which everyone complains about and everyone uses.
