  1. Do you take many photographs?
  2. What do you usually photograph?
  3. Do you prefer taking photos of people or places?
  4. Do you print any of your photos?
  5. Has the way people take photos changed?
  6. Do you like having your picture taken?
  7. Do you keep old family photographs?
  8. Do you share your photos online?
  9. Have you ever taken a photography course?
  10. What makes a good photograph?

“Hundreds a month, most of them rubbish”比“yes, quite a lot”开头更好。
  • “Has it changed”
  • “What makes a good photograph”

snap

capture

candid

camera roll

get them printed

I'm not photogenic

Do you like taking photographs?

I take a lot and I look at almost none of them, which I've decided is fine. The taking is a way of paying attention — I notice more on a walk if I'm half looking for something. Whether the photograph is any good afterwards is almost beside the point.

Do you prefer taking photos of people or places?

Places, because I'm self-conscious about photographing people and it shows in the results. The pictures of people I like best are the ones where nobody knew, and I'm not comfortable enough to take those very often. So mostly buildings, which don't mind.

Has photography changed since you were young?

Completely, and mostly because of the phone. When I was small a roll of film was thirty-six pictures and you thought before each one. Now I'll take twenty of the same thing and delete nineteen. Something's been gained in volume and something's definitely been lost in attention.
