MockLive Interviews

Practise the real room.

Live voice. Real pressure. Nothing whispered in your ear.

Pick your role, the round and an interviewer, then answer out loud. It follows up on the weak part of your answer, watches you code, and hands you a rubric-scored replay when you are done.

MockLive Exams

Find out your score before you pay for the real test.

Timed like the real thing. Scored like the real thing.

Sit a complete mock of IELTS, TOEFL, PTE or the Duolingo English Test, section by section. You get the band you would have got, and whether to book yet.

  • Real clock
  • Real score scale
  • 20 mocks, valid a year

MockLive Roleplay

Practise the conversations you get one shot at.

Someone who pushes back. A debrief that quotes you.

The discovery call, the price objection, the feedback nobody wants to give. A live call with someone who pushes back, then a debrief that quotes what you said and what it cost you.

Interviews · System design round

Kai asks: “Walk me through a system you designed and the trade-offs you made under load.” You answer: “We sharded by tenant, so one hot customer couldn’t take the cluster down. The cost was cross-tenant reporting, which I moved to a nightly job…”

After the session

Your words, quoted back to you.

The score is the one you would have got, not the one you would like. A quote appears in the report only if you said it, and the video is yours alone.

“We, um, basically sharded it and it kind of worked, so the team was happy with that.”

“We” hides your decision. No numbers, no failure mode, and the trade-off you mentioned earlier never came back.

Say instead: “I sharded by tenant. It cut p99 from 1.8s to 300ms, and the cost was cross-tenant reporting, which I moved to a nightly job.”

  • Nothing is inflated

An exam score is the band you would have got. An interview score is against the rubric the round is really graded on.

  • Nothing is invented

Every quote in a report is something you said, with the timestamp you said it at.

  • Nothing is shared

Recordings and transcripts are yours. Your slides render in your browser and the file is never stored.

Inside the room

Why it feels like a conversation, not a voicemail.

Most voice AI waits for silence, then writes a reply, then reads it out. Ours decides you have finished from what you said, and starts the reply while you are still trailing off. One turn, measured end to end, looks like this.

One turn, measured end to end. You finish speaking at 0 ms. The reply is already being drafted from 300 ms before that, its first sentence is voiced as you finish, and you hear it about 400 ms later. Waiting for silence, then writing, synthesising and playing the reply, takes about 2.4 seconds.
  • 01

    Semantic turn-taking

A turn model decides when you have finished from what you said. It holds through a mid-thought pause and releases on a completed answer.

  • 02

    Speculative replies

The reply is drafted and its first sentence synthesised while you are still trailing off. A wrong guess is cancelled before you hear a word of it.

  • 03

    Talk over it

Interrupt when you need to, the way you would a person. Echo from laptop speakers is filtered, so it works without headphones.

  • 04

    Two models, two jobs

A fast model drives the live conversation. A deeper one scores the whole session afterwards. Speed in the room, rigour in the report.

The real one gives you one take. Rehearse it here first.

Interview, exam, sales call or the talk you have to give: walk in having already said it out loud, heard the follow-ups, and fixed the weak line.

One free session in each of the four rooms — for exams, a quick mock. No card.
